...I can't seem to get this to work. I have a netgear router and each Rosewill works fine as server or client with it, but the two Rosewill units won't work with each other. Any hints???   Thanks in advance...

  • Greeting Eggxperts, what y`ll know about WIRELESS?

Hey, I am trying to learn about wireless streaming devices, not just knowing which one to buy, also to address specific features. It seems like this is still a segment with a lot of room for growth and development. Right now there are many solutions available and is already possible to wirelessly network all of your devices, your ...

  • Re: Wireless setup question

Or you could run a crossover Ethernet cable from one WiFi router to another WiFi router up at your bed and breakfast, though I would probably think about CAT6 and maybe running through a buried pipe to protect the wiring.  300 feet... you will have to see what the specs are, they may be 100 feet between routers, I cannot remember.  Cat6 ...

  • Router Ranges

So, I'm moving across the street from my mother (120 ft. max) and am able to connect to her router until RIGHT before entering my apartment, so I'm thinking I need a good, long-range router as apposed to the little linksys i have right now.. I'm a bit of a newbie on the router business, though. Does anyone have any suggestions? ...

  • PS3 kicks my laptop from wireless network

Please bear with me while I attempt to explain.   I run a v5 WRT54G as the main/only switch for my home network.  I have a PS3 connected via Ethernet (wire) and a laptop wirelessly connected as well.  Whenever I start up the PS3, (or start Guitar Hero 3) it kicks the laptop off the network.  I know this because I hear ...

If your kid wants to be a CS agent when he grows up, make sure he is familiar with the various downsides of the job. Danger comes in many forms, including evisceration and threats to remove one's manhood. Anyhow, just a bit of old news.. when's the last time you went to a coffee shop with your laptop and hopped online? Earlier this week, ...

  • Bluetooth a printer

I just bought a new Dell Latitude D830 over Christmas.  They also talked me into a little $50 printer,  a 926 AIO.  Actually, it is a pretty good little printer, but i am getting tired of connecting and disconnecting the USB cable every time I need to print something.  I think there should be some way to make this work with ...

  • Wireless for 64-bit Windows Server 2003???

I've been using a Netgear WPN824 RangeMax wireless router with a Netgear WG111T wireless USB adapter with 32-bit Vista.  I need to also use 64-bit Server 2003, so I set up my system to dual boot.  However, none of the Netgear WG111T drivers I tried (versions 1.3 and 2.1) support 64-bit Server 2003.
