  • Is This Normal? 64bit Box = 32bit DVD?

    I bought an OEM copy of Vista Home P. 64-bit and when I opened it, the DVD says ''This disc contains 32-bit software only''. I thought it was a typo or something and proceeded to install, only to find out everything is in 32-bit... Am I supposed to use Alt. Media on this 32-bit key or is the 64-bit installation 'hidden' on this DVD?Thanks for ...

  • Is there a place where I can buy OEM of XP

    I have an 2001 Dell desktop that originally came with Win 98. I flashed the bios and installed one of those student one time shot versions of XP. ( I didn't know it at the time that you could only install it once). I was wondering if it would be possible to buy an inexpensive OEM version of XP for it that would allow me to use it on just that ...

  • Vista 32 bit for Vista 63 bit OEM?

    Hello, So if I buy a laptop with vista 32 bit already installed, is it possible for me to get vista 64 bit without buying a retail version? Like paying a few dollars extra and giving up the 32 bit version for a 64 bit version? -Nos PS. the laptop in mind happens to be an ASUS N80vn
