As a precaution, this is my first build.  I would love to assume that as I've gotten through most of the setup for Vista, I have put everything together correctly.  I've read just about everything there is in the BIOS, and as far as I can tell, I'm good.    When I installed Vista the first time, most of ...

  • Re: sp1 for vista

Another thing that you should also note is when you are going to be installing SP1 make sure that you only have the basic languages that came with the system: English (US), French, German, Japanese, or Spanish (Traditional). If you have more than those you are going to encounter some issues. You will have to remove all of the other languages ...

  • Vista Ultimate SP1 retail: both 32bit and 64bit?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832116473 I know the previous retail DVD comes with both 32 and 64 bit install dvds.  Can I assume this is also the case with the SP1 version?  It's not listed in the product details, but I can't imagine it would be different.

  • The Rise of Linux

Excerpt from the GNU Manifesto: '' I consider that the golden rule requires that if I like a program I must share it with other people who like it. Software sellers want to divide the users and conquer them, making each user agree not to share with others. I refuse to break solidarity with other users in this way. I cannot in good ...
