Another thing that you should also note is when you are going to be installing SP1 make sure that you only have the basic languages that came with the system: English (US), French, German, Japanese, or Spanish (Traditional). I have used Windows memory diagnostic software and no errors were reported, I have scanned the system files and a few errors were not resolved.
