I just RMA'd a Sapphire HD3870 (dual DVI-I) because the fan was either on max RPM almost constantly, or it would cycle from OFF to On every 2-3 seconds. Or it would stay off for 3 min and then on for 20, or other random time periods
I called Sapphire tech support without any resolution or even a trouble ticket. They suggested it may have been a ...

Please Help Me,
I bought a Zotac Geforce 9600 GT 1GB video card for my HP M1080n. It is about a quarter of an inch too long. The end of the card touches the main power supply connector on my motherboard. The Zotac video card is 9.375 inches (238mm) long including the length of the DVI connectors. 9.125 (231mm) not ...

I'm an Electrical Engineering student at ASU; here's my question:
Does Nvidia plan to implement any new instruction sets in the current GPU architecture that will be specially tailored for PhysX calculations?
(I assume there are at least a few operations that PhysX requires a lot of that typical GPU's aren't optimized for yet)

On relativly low settings except some minor details. But, I currently am going to be quitting WoW for it becoming more and more of an epic failure EVERYDAY. ...

Hi,
My son is building his first computer. We received so great advice on components from this site - thanks!
After he put it together, he turned on the power supply first and then the case power button. No signal from the video card to the monitor. We tried several cables and even another monitor ... nothing. ...

I recently replaced by motherboard with a GIGABYTE GA-MA78G-DS3H Motherboard, which has the PCIE 2.0 spec. However, I have a connect3D Radeon X800 video card which uses the old PCIE 1.0 spec. My understanding was that 1.0 vid cards would work ok in the 2.0 slots, but for some reason this card isn't being recognized in Windows Vista. I've checked ...
