  • can factory overclocked cards be overclocked?

    i remember hearing somewhere that you cant overclock factory overclocked cards, is this true? for example, can you overclock a gtx 260 core 216 ssc card, or are you forever stuck at those specs?

    I'm an Electrical Engineering student at ASU; here's my question: Does Nvidia plan to implement any new instruction sets in the current GPU architecture that will be specially tailored for PhysX calculations? (I assume there are at least a few operations that PhysX requires a lot of that typical GPU's aren't optimized for yet)

  • PCIE 1 vid card not recognized in a PCIE 2.0 mobo

    I recently replaced by motherboard with a GIGABYTE GA-MA78G-DS3H Motherboard, which has the PCIE 2.0 spec. However, I have a connect3D Radeon X800 video card which uses the old PCIE 1.0 spec.
