Hello,  I have never purchased or used any sound cards.  I have always used onboard sound with my PC's.  I am putting together a new rig, and I was wondering if a sound card would really make much of a difference?  I only have a 2.1 speaker set up... not a 5.1 or 7.1 as many of you have.  Would you guys recommend me ...

  • Sound Card Question

Is it possible to connect front panel audio ports to a sound card?  I'm asking because I was looking at the MSI K9N2 Diamond Motherboard that comes with a sound card and was thinking if it was possible to hook up that audio card to some front panel connectors from my pc case.  I'd appreciate an answer to my question. THANKS!!
