I did a RAM test and I got more than half a million errors, on both sticks! I undid the overclock and my RAM was fine. later I tried the overclock again and the RAM did the same thing! today I tried to overclock ...
I am building a computer and need help understanding the specifics of RAM. May you please explain the importance and benefit of Memory Configuration (Dual, Quad Channel), Speed Rating (1600MHz, 1866MHz, etc.) and SPD Speed. Also may you please include anything else I should know when buying RAM?

I finished my first build and got it up and running just this last March. First and foremost I love the computer…it is primarily used as a gaming rig and has performed well; however, I believe it should be running “better” than what it is. I can’t max out all of the settings for games. High or very high across the board usual will work but I want ...
I know this may seem like an obvious question, but all I keep hearing is that it boosts performance ( and in no specific way ). All I keep hearing is that you overclock in order to make use of full potential of your processor. Can anyone explain to me how overclocking a cpu, memory, and video cards has real world benefits. And if so why it is ...
