Ok I am looking at sound cards, and about a week ago, Extremetech.com had an article on sound cards and they said that they like the Asus Xonar card better than the advance Auzentech Prelude X-Fi that I have been looking at. Now I myself have a SB X-Fi Platinum, and since I have upgraded my Mobo I don't have as much problems out of it like I did ...

There are tons of good gaming sound cards out there, but can anyone recommend a good, quality sound card for music production. it would need to to have midi hookups.
