i just bought a new mother board and noticed it said that it was vista certified does this mena that it is only compatible wiht vista or doe sit mean it has the capablity to run run vista but will run previous os  

so im wondering what would be the cheapest upgrade for the cpu speed, i encode huge movie files, and do many other things that would just take less time with a nicely clocked cpu, i have a system that is decent but want to upgrade it, so i look to the motherboard as the cheaper possible upgrade, i have a e6400 core 2 duo that can easily reach ...

I need an old abit kv8 pro. I have a pc that was bricked by a bios checksum error. I dont really want to upgrade but instead, replace the mobo. I am looking for a kv8 or a board that supports athlon 64 3200, ddr 400, and a agp slot, for around $20-30 new.  Thanks
