  • KWorld TVBox 1680ex and 19" Monitor (w/ VGA input)

Do you guys think this will work? Plug a TV cable into the TV tuner, take a VGA cable, plug it into the VGA out port and into the VGA in port on the monitor. Then the monitor will be a TV? Just wondering if this works? Thanks.

  • 17" LCD not getting video from 8800GT

I have an older SVA 17'' LCD (model #VR-17B) that when I hook up to my new system, I get absolutely no video signal. The BIOS is set for PCI-E for a default video source, so I'm at a bit of a quandary. I have another video card that I used to set up the system and it works fine....in VGA mode....it does not have a DVI connection. After I got all ...

  • New AMD Build - all opinions welcomed

I am upgrading from the old socket 754 build I put together in college. This is my preliminary list of hardware. The budget is tight, so I'll be putting the core together first, reusing some old components, and upgrading as I can. I don't have too many builder friends, so any opinions and input would be greatly appreciatedMotherboard BIOSTAR ...

About 6 months ago it developed a problem that when it is turned on, the backlight comes on for about 1 second before turning off. I opened it up and beleive the problem lies in one of the boards that powers the backlights. However I cannot get through to wisewing to ...

  • Acer P223Wwd versus AL2216Wbd

I would like to know which of these two monitors is superior: the Acer P223Wwd or the Acer AL2216Wbd.  The first has a contrast ratio of 2500:1, while the second has a contrast ratio of 700:1.  I know that 2500:1 is superior, but I was wondering if there was some kind of... ''catch'' to the P223Wwd. Thank you for your reply. :)
