I use my PC to give my xbox 360 an internet connection and I notice when playing games on xbox live, it will hang for a second before catching up every once in awhile. Also, I should be getting a full 108mbps but I get half that. Any ideas what I could do to fix this? other ...

I am currently subscribed to Comcast High-Speed Cable internet, but it cannot handle the demand we put on it, so I, being the farthest wireless connection, get the leftovers, which in some cases, is nothing. I am thinking about subscribing to AT&T internet as well as to my Comcast. I also have no home phone service, and am not ...

For those of you who live in crowded metros or high density neighborhoods (apartments/condo complexes) there's a neat wireless ethernet product out on the market that helps you take advantage of your close proximity. The principle of the product is simple: community wireless mesh networking for delivering internet access.
The basis of the ...

Hi there! Welcome to my NewEgg blog, I'm Mr. Toast.
Like many of y'all, I love listening to music over internet radio; there's a wide and eclectic variety of streaming choices out there. And more than that, it's a great equalizer. It used to take a boatload of money to start up a traditional radio station, assuming you could even get a ...

I'm new at all this computer and internet stuff, even though I have been in the Computer Hardware Industry for 20+ years. PCB Desiger by trade. Worked on Unix Mainframes thru PC's. Used almost all OS's with the exception of MAC. Looking at the possibility of working for myself. Trying to decide what to do with the ''Rest of my life''. Currently ...

Is it just me or are blogs this huge phenomenon that sprang up suddenly, and for some strange reason skyrocketed in popularity overnight. I know there have always been message boards, newsgroups, forums, etc. It's just that blogs are so much more a personal thing than anything else. It really makes me wonder what new forms of communication will ...
