A friend has a Dell Latitude D600 laptop that wasn't reading the harddrive in it, I was wondering if the harddrive was possibly shot or maybe it was having some other problem. Also was wondering if any of these harddrives were compatible and/or possibly would it accept a SATA drive

before I buy I want to know if the motherboard ASUS P6T6 WS Revolution LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard could hold a hard drive config of: HDD 0 & HDD 1 in RAID 0 while HDD 2 & HDD 3 in RAID 1 while the HDD 4 is not in any sort of RAID?

Hello, I'm new to these boards but I'm a long-time Newegg.com customer.
So I've read a few places that removing the hard drive jumper completely opens up the HDD to SATA 3.0 GB/s from 1.5 GB/s. Right now the jumper is on the ''Master'' setting although I've only got one HDD. I've got a Seagate Barracuda 250 GB. Is that true or what?
