I bought the digital download copy of Call of Duty 4 from Newegg. Downloaded it, installed it and played it. Fine.
I went to apply the patches and I get a message that says: ''This patch does not work with digitally distributed versions of the game. Please contact the vendor to get a version of the patch that will work with the ...

Hey everyone! I'm not really ''new'' here, but I haven't posted on the forum since I joined. I'm sure some of you know me from the Egg's chat channel. I finally felt like taking a dive in to this forum, so here I am!
Anyways, I also posted for another reason, I wanted to know if anyone else who lives in the Tr-State area was up for going to ...

Well I am finished with my First ever build and It went surprisingly well!
The
only thing I didnt get from newegg was the Hard drives I got them from
a Brick and Mortor store around here, they were a 500GB Seagate and a
500GB Maxtor External for backups.
I had everything put together and ready to install the Os In about 4 hours BUT I ...

Hello everyone!
Ok, my friend is in need of a budget gamer computer less than $500. He wants a gaming computer that will be just as good as mine, on a budget. He wants it to be good enough to run all the new games. NOT on maximum settings but where he will have a beautiful gaming experience without any issues.
Ok, story aside... I'm going ...

Fresh build. Looking for a mobo for my Q6600 and 8800 GT. There are so many options, but it looks like I've narrowed it down to a P35 board. Open to any suggestions even if it's not a P35. Should I go with the DDR2 ram or DDR3?

I'm currently building a desktop, trying to switch from my old XPS1710 (dell gaming latptop) which has 17'' monitor with 1920x1200 max resolution.
I don't really want to reduce my resolution when I switch to my new desktop so I'm trying to find LCD monitors with that resolution and it seems there aren't that many on newegg.
So my ...

Been a while since I dabbled with hardware and it seems like everything has changed so much. Been doing a lot of reading and trying to keep up with the suggestions I've read in faqs, reviews, etc. I think the things I am most iffy on are graphics card and tower case--I was looking through a lot of them and I just wasn't sure what I wanted. I would ...

I've recently been walking down the path of trying to get 3 screens setup for gaming purposes.
Currently, I've got 2 nvidia cards that are not SLI compatible hooked up, and 3 monitors setup for a desktop.
However, the desktop does not span across all 3, and any games cannot take advantage of hardware acceleration and 3 screens.
Without ...

I just now read that nVidia acquired Ageia...I thought that between Ageia physics and ''true'' quad core processing that AMD/ATI stood a chance of redemption by going a different route technologically. Around the time of socket 939 (seems so long ago) AMD seemed untouchable. Although ATI took the backseat graphically around that time, building ...

so, does anyone know of where i could buy a bag (like a case strap or LAN bag for a computer) for transporting a 22'' widescreen monitor? specifically, the 220$ acer one that's being sold on newegg.
i should note that i'm getting a VESA desk stand for it, so that'll make for a slightly awkward back of the monitor. it'd be about 16 lbs, ...

I do not have anymore then $1000 so the shipping and handling, tax, ect. must be included in the total price.
Some games i plan on playing are crysis, Cell Factor, Half life 2, Gmod, ...
