Hi,
I am looking to buy a DVD burner (internal) for my computer. But I am not sure which one to choose from. I so far picked these 3.. all of them have both positive and negative comments, so I don't know which one to pick.
I'd like a quiet one but I am more looking for one that has a good duration since my last driver went dead pretty quickly ...

I'm looking to upgrade the dvd/cdr drive in my laptop to a dvdr drive and have a few questions about form factors and am looking for recommendations.
My comp is a little known brand called Mitac it has a toshiba mobo I believe. The model number is 8375, it uses a AMD 2200+ mobile XP, and has 1gb of ram.

I purchased a Sony DVD burner 8 months ago, and now it's broken. At first it recognized DVD's for what they were, but now the show up as CD's. I checked for new drivers and updates, but there were none. I also tried to reinstall the current drivers, but it didn't fix the problem. Is the problem in the Software or hardware? Please Help.

Maybe I have just been lucky to this point after over 15 years messing with computers, or maybe I am overlooking something. Of course there is always the distinct possibility that I just don't have a clue.

Looking for the best gaming notebook that has the highest intel cpu and 8800gtx if possible. 2-3 hard drives and no smaller then 15 inch screen. Let me know if you know of any good ones. been looking at some but need to find some more.

hi i have a couple of questions when it comes to SATA optical drives.
i read that optical SATA drives cannot be placed on SATA ports that have a raid controller on them?
can i burn files to more that one SATA drive at the same time? IDE on the same ide channel conflict with each other and couse slower burn times or coasters.
