Knowing that the NVIDIA GeForce 9300M is also available for this model, is there some means of upgrading the graphics card to this or another, aftermarket, without breakin the bank or the computer?

The RDRAM for the computer is insanely expensive and the cards I have found have been reasonably priced. I took apart my compy and ...

  • Re: PSU for Dell xps 400

My xps 400 was built in 8-2006, service code 5t0bmb1.  It's getting to be old, but is actually still in great shape and fits my needs well. I figure if I can squeeze another 2 years out of it then spending the $250 or so will be well worth it over buying or building a new system.   I can confirm what you are saying about the xps 400 case. The ...

  • X-Fi XtremeMusic to AV Receiver

OK so the digital I/O and the SPDIF on the back of my sound card are confusing me.  Can someone point out a converter/cable to connect from my sound card to a digital coax connection (I would want optical but the wire will be running under a well traveled carpet). Thanks in advance for your help!

  • EVGA 9800GT 512MB power supply question

Before I knew what I do now about hardware, I bought a Dell XPS 400 to do a little bit of gaming. I did want to upgrade the video card to this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130435 but my Dell ...

I have an 2001 Dell desktop that originally came with Win 98. I flashed the bios and installed one of those student one time shot versions of XP.
