    OK, so if you're not going to buy a monitor from Newegg, where do you buy from?   I agree: one dead pixel is too many dead pixels. And some manufacturers do have zero dead pixel policies (e.g. Viewsonic). Newegg's 8 dead pixel policy is bewildering considering how awesome the rest of the customer service is.
