I have my current one as an ide 7200 rpm hard drive or I could change it to a sata 5400 rpm laptop drive I have layin around. Im kinda new to sata soo which would have a faster boot and over all better performance? Ooh and im dual booting with xp and vista 64 bit if that helps.

When I boot up my computer I will occasionally get a ''Error loading OS'' message. Then I have to restart my computer a few times before it works. I figure it is a windows file being corrupt. Is there any program I can use to check the windows system files or boot files and fix this.
