I have a Trendnet TEW-639GR router, as stated, which I purchased on Newegg about 4 or 5 months ago, and have recently been having some strange wlan issues, which I have not been able to successfully diagnose. I recently have been having more and more disconnects and slowness from my laptops and my ps3. I noticed that during ...

I'm running XP SP3
I have the $8 Encore wireless card, which I know is a cheap-o card, but I don't think this is a hardware problem.
I could get a connection without a problem for 3 weeks, then all of a sudden I started having problems after standby. The only way to get a connection again was to reboot. Even the reboot did not ...

I'm looking for a wireless solution I can use on my boat while I'm at the marina. The location of the marina's Linksys router (wireless-G) is partially blocked by a building and I only get one bar reception and speed and ability to connect vary day-to-day.
I'd like to install a wireless router on the boat that will connect wirelessly to the ...

I am running five computers on my network, four are doing casual websurfing, while one is doing hardcore gaming, along with my Xbox 360 where I do some intense gaming. I have had my current router for over two years, and it started with blazing fast speed. Over the last 6 months, it has slowed down and even brought some computers to a halt. These ...

I am currently subscribed to Comcast High-Speed Cable internet, but it cannot handle the demand we put on it, so I, being the farthest wireless connection, get the leftovers, which in some cases, is nothing. I am thinking about subscribing to AT&T internet as well as to my Comcast. I also have no home phone service, and am not ...

kunzy:sounds fun to me. Also, you may be able to get away with using USB extension cables and feed that through the wall with the HDMI and mount the bluetooth reciever behind the tv.
In fact, that leads me to another idea: since many of the wireless keyboard/mice combos have a setup where you plug the USB cord into the computer, then put the ...

I am 1/2 the house away and one floor down, at best I get 2 bars. Occasionally the internet will go out for 2 minutes to around an hour. Does anyone know of good extenders or repeaters out there? It's getting frustrating playing online games and logging out or downloading something and then having to start over.
