I'm running XP SP3 I have the $8 Encore wireless card, which I know is a cheap-o card, but I don't think this is a hardware problem.   I could get a connection without a problem for 3 weeks, then all of a sudden I started having problems after standby.  The only way to get a connection again was to reboot.  Even the reboot did not ...

  • Re: Controlling LCD from a PC in another room

kunzy:sounds fun to me.  Also, you may be able to get away with using USB extension cables and feed that through the wall with the HDMI and mount the bluetooth reciever behind the tv. In fact, that leads me to another idea: since many of the wireless keyboard/mice combos have a setup where you plug the USB cord into the computer, then put the ...

  • Increase wireless signal

I am 1/2 the house away and one floor down, at best I get 2 bars. Occasionally the internet will go out for 2 minutes to around an hour. Does anyone know of good extenders or repeaters out there? It's getting frustrating playing online games and logging out or downloading something and then having to start over.
