I have a Gigabyte GA-X48-DQ6 mobo and Installed Vista 64. The 2 x WD 750Gb hard disks were configured in a Raid 1 (mirror) configuration. I never used the floppy driver (that you need to create) and installed Vista without a problem and it works great.
How do I dertermine that Raid 1 works as designed and that the drivers are proper?
Thanks

Write performance on RAID 5 without significant onboard (or onchip) RAM is very slow--I would certainly NOT recommend it. If you can, get another drive and make it RAID 1+0 (much faster).
Alternatively, there are add-on RAID ...
