  • OCZ3P1600LVAM4GK vs OCZ3N1800SR4GK

I wanted to get the OCZ3N1800SR4GK DDR3 1800 (which it looks like newegg doesn't carry anymore) and downgrade to DDR3 1666. According to the specs the OCZ3P1600LVAM4GK is designed to work with AMD AM3, so I'm not sure which memory to get. I asked OCZ and they said ''both memory kits will work just fine'', so I wanted some more input since ...

  • core i7 DVE build check

We hope to order the parts for this build in the next day or two.  The miscellaneous stuff like cables haven't been added in yet (have some left over from my last build).  This is our first i7 build, so I'm concerned that we didn't miss any compatibility issues with the CPU, MOBO, RAM, PSU, GPU, etc.  Here's the wish list: ...

  • OCZ Vertex 120 GB SSD

I finally got the nerve and pooled enough cash to buy the OCZ Vertex 120 GB SSD, and freakin' Newegg raised the price from $349.99 to stinkin' $419.00 overnight!! Do you guys think that it's a mistake and it will go back soon, or is Newegg milking people for this popular drive? On Tigerdirect this thing still goes for $349.99, but being a loyal ...

Then turned on, then off, then on again, and it stayed on this time. It did it all by itself, I didn't touch it. I then installed Vista and some apps, updated, reboot, instaleld, more, etc, rebooting a total ...
