I wanted to get the OCZ3N1800SR4GK DDR3 1800 (which it looks like newegg doesn't carry anymore) and downgrade to DDR3 1666.
According to the specs the OCZ3P1600LVAM4GK is designed to work with AMD AM3, so I'm not sure which memory to get.
I asked OCZ and they said ''both memory kits will work just fine'',
so I wanted some more input since ...

I finally got the nerve and pooled enough cash to buy the OCZ Vertex 120 GB SSD, and freakin' Newegg raised the price from $349.99 to stinkin' $419.00 overnight!! Do you guys think that it's a mistake and it will go back soon, or is Newegg milking people for this popular drive? On Tigerdirect this thing still goes for $349.99, but being a loyal ...

I have a GA-EP45-UD3R MB and OCZ 2GBx2 DDR6400 SLI-Ready (5-4-4@2.1v) memory and it works fine. Then I bought another 1GBx2 Corsair XMS2 DDR2-6400 (4-4-4-12@2.1v). When I installed them the system won't boot.
If I use the two pairs of memories separately, the system works fine. But when I put them together, the system won't start (I can only see ...

I just built a computer a couple days ago, and when I powered it on for the first time, it turned on for a couple seconds, then turned off. Then turned on, then off, then on again, and it stayed on this time. It did it all by itself, I didn't touch it.
I then installed Vista and some apps, updated, reboot, instaleld, more, etc, rebooting a total ...
