Yes, your referenced product is not considered an ION. First, it has the GeForce 9300 gpu. The ION has the GeForce 9400 gpu. Second, it is married to the Atom. Here is the press release describing the ION:

I was wondering which one you think would be better for my new build. I am thinking that I can get better computer performance with the nVidia becuase of its DirectCompute capabilites with Windows 7. This doesn't seem to be documented on the web anywhere. The VisionTek 10004773 video card is in fact a GeForce4 Ti 4200. The back of the card carries the markings of ETON ET866. The standard Microsoft and nVIDIA drivers work just fine with it.
