Alright So I want the best computer I can build for under $1000

i need to build a pc for a security system, www.ezwatchpro.com
their software only supports 32-bit systems, or so their tech dept says.
im pretty sure it needs to be intel, since all of their pc's are and i dont want to take any chances.
so im going to raid 5 a few 1tb's since 32 bit wont support anything over 2tb, i plan on running win 7 ...

I noticed NewEgg.ca put up the new G2 versions of the Intel SSDs. They're going for 522$ a piece. What ever happened to the low prices we were supposed to see concerning these drives? They literally doubled the G1 prices... just great. To top it off, they raised the original G1 80 GB prices to 266$ each. :(

yes. my computer is a piece of c**p. and im working on getting the money to get a new one. This is a dell made in 01 and came w/ Win2000. Now it has XP SP3... and with only 1000mhz... as well as all of the other crappy parts... you can imagine the speed issues i have.
