  • Wireless connection hangs with netgear setup

I have a netgear WGT624v3 router and a WN111V2 usb adapter on windows XP. I use my PC to give my xbox 360 an internet connection and I notice when playing games on xbox live, it will hang for a second before catching up every once in awhile. Also, I should be getting a full 108mbps but I get half that. Any ideas what I could do to fix this? other ...

  • Help with a Blue Screen of Death

Hey guys, I've been having problems with my computer. Well, not exactly my computer. Every time I play the game 'Darkest of Days', I may get through near a half an hour and suddenly the game will freeze up and show the Blue Screen of Death. I'll restart the computer and everything will be fine, as if nothing has happened. The error screen tells me ...

Hello,  I am trying to figure out what router would be best for me.  Basically I will just need to access with my laptop, but my comp and DSL box are both in basement and I want to be able to bring my netbook outside, so I can work from home and have as much flexibility as possible.  Also, we have a PS3 currently in basement family ...

  • Two networks

I am currently subscribed to Comcast High-Speed Cable internet, but it cannot handle the demand we put on it, so I, being the farthest wireless connection, get the leftovers, which in some cases, is nothing. I am thinking about subscribing to AT&T internet as well as to my Comcast. I also have no home phone service, and am not ...

  • The best gaming keyboard

I have been looking at keyboards on Newegg, and I have realized that there are only about four or five choices for the hardcore gamer: the Logitech G15 ($90), the Razer Tarantula ($90), the Razer Arctosa ($45), the Razer Lytosa ($80), or even the Logitech G19 ($200), which I have yet to see on Newegg. My personal vote is for the Logitech G15, ...

Capt. Insane: FHS60:Thanks for the info, but another question has arisen: How can my HD3600 ($78) cost more than the 4600 ($40)? I looked at the specs, and it has 512 MB memory, but only 80 Stream Processing untis (The card that I have now has 120). • CPU/ GPU questions

I have a dell optiplex 745, and need to use a half-height video card. While I know that half-heights will logically never be as powerful as their full-height counterparts, I was wondering if a better CPU would create better performance and/or compensate for a less-powerful gpu. Also, is the CPU used at all in games? For example, in GTAIV, does ...
