  • My New Under $1,200 Gaming Rig should be complete.

To all fellow Newegg shoppers, Well I have been wanting to build my own pc for a good while now because I've always had Budget Bestbuy or walmart Pc's  (Last was acer) and I could never play any games on the dang things unless they were flash.  Recently I landed a decent job and decided well its time to build my first good gaming ...

Thanks HOGHAULER.  I'm getting some of the same from other forums.  So now I'm looking at about 700w to give me the necessary ''headroom''.  Originally, I was thinking that with cascaded startups, the HDDs won't be drawing that much (they settle out at about 6w ea. once at full speed). The DFI forum also mentioned some past ...

This computer will be primarily used for gaming and used with some adobe cs3 programs. I'm unsure of what processor to get and would like some opinions on ...

  • Q6600 Computer Rebuild

I'm thinking about rebuilding my computer. I've been an AMD fan for a long time, but they are lacking behind Intel right now. So I think I'm going to go with the Q6600. My question is what do you think is the best motherboard for this cpu is? I want SLI and mostly game with this computer. Also when the new 45nm cpu's come out ...
