• Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

defiledfrog:Your entitled to your opinion, but compared to any console, PCs offer a better experience if experience = customizable, gameplay, multiplay, load times, and VISUALS (graphics) And you are again using a biased opinion. customizable, which is not only leaving the PC base as we have seen with MW2, but consoles are starting to ...

  • Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

PROACEX1:. PC's still provide the best gaming experience. Again, that is OPINION, not FACT. You are taking in GRAPHICAL POWER as the sole reason as to why the PC is better. You use no logical reasoning into why GAMEPLAY may be better on the PC over the console. Again I bring up, it costs more for a PC, PCs are less stable, more viruses, driver ...

  • Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

defiledfrog:Here is the point I think people are trying to make on this thread is that we got ripped with a console port of COD MW2. No dedi servers, no lean, nothing above 9vs9 on multiplayer, no console commands, and no lean (in my cup). I see you as a console player should not have a problem with this at all and good for you since ...

Sidicas: Kocrachon: Back in the Day maps came FREE with patches. Now you have to pay 10 dollars for a 4 pack of maps for the CoD franchise. Only on the console.. At least the Call of Duty: World at war maps were free for PC.. Console players had to pay money. On the map half yes... but PC gamers are being charged for DLC ...

defiledfrog:There was not doubt in my mind that the PC would not smoke the consoles in detail, PC hardware is still leaps and bounds over the console. Its hard to cram all of that power in a box the size of the xbox or PS3 with enough power, not to mention heat disipation. There are hundreds of videos dedicated to fixing the XBOX 360 ...

barely a week and hackers have already shown why it was a bad idea not having dedicated servers where admins could ban hackers Hackers have created their own dedicated servers that still report stats to IW and gives them mega stats...

fabulouscoops: Kocrachon: By your own logic, the boycotters are playing on pirated copies. Maybe they are boycotting. Pirated copies can't be run through steam like that. They are running copies from steam, that were purchased on the store. You can tell if its a pirated copy because it would say non steam game if they were to ...

  • Re: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

PROACEX1:PC sales are most namely declining supposedly more due to DRM then piracy even. Most end users simply don't care to buy games which have worthless and annoying DRM, thus they download the hacked versions instead of paying $50 for a restricted game with worthless ''protection'' which truly doesn't do anything to stem pirates themselves, ...

  • Re: What is the best joystick for flight gaming?

Oh its easy to set up. You don't need any software other than drivers, then in game you jsut tell the game what buttons you want to do what. It has some special drivers for the display and such but other than that its not much work.

  • Re: Sales Boycott over Modern Warfare 2-steam trojan

While I agree that requiring a 3rd party software is a bit lame, anyone who is a PC gamer and doesn't already have steam is not quite a typical PC gamer. Steam is the best form of DRM there is. Unlimited Installs, you can switch computers with it and so forth. Personally I think MW2 is a bust to begin with, even on the console. The way they ...

If you want the BEST then you want the Saitek X-52 pro. In the major aviation community of those who fly in Flight Simulator X, IL-2, or in Lock On Modern Combat, most people use the X-52 pro. http://www.saitek.com/uk/prod/x52pro.htm and the cheaper non-pro model, the X-52, which is what i ...

fabulouscoops:Right on those points. IW admitted that the PC game was essentially a console port and said (get this) that the PC game had special features that the console did not such as mouse support. When mouse support becomes a ''special feature'' you know the PC was never considered as a platform for more than an ...
