I thought the 8800GT only had problems with PCI-E version 1.1a or something like that. It works with 1.0 and 1.1 but not 1.1a, which was what made it so funny. But yeah, there are BIOS fixes for a bunch of motherboards I think. I wouldn't know. But what if people have a super old motherboard from a lame company that no longer updates the BIOS ...
