Alright awesome I need to reformat.
Now I need to find a way to access it long enough to start the reformat process. When i plug it in Vista sees it for a very very short time before dissapears. Can i still manually access it using command prompt and reformat then?

the ISO file reports as 2.7 GB and it seems the limit is 4 gigs.
I can detect it on my computer for about 3 seconds and then it dissapears.

This is fairly simple and straightforward. I went to an older 5 year old computer and downloaded the windows 7 iso file. I then took my Sandisk U3 32 GB flash drive and put the iso file on the drive. I went to my computer, put in the flash drive, and voila......nothing.

Well...you CAN shell out the 150 for the 4850, but i think it will simply not be cost effective since your CPU will bottleneck.
IMO just go with a $90 9600GT. And then use the extra $50 to buy Fallout 3.

I have another quick question for you.
I have a 2.2 dual core 4200+AMD, and i just ordered a 3850 ATI.
Is my CPU gonna bottleneck my GPU? And by how much? I hope it isnt severe enough to completely render my 3850 to a 8600GTS.
