IMO, with those particular Crucial sticks being fairly reliable, I would suggest there's something else amiss, like settings, or driver issue. If you have access to another DDR2 machine, best bet is to test them out, else you'll be sending back kit after kit. Penewah!

On the 920 v. 860, I said personally, b/c I'd overclock and the 920 will go faster on stock voltage, plus with the PCIE controler off die, it's a bit easer with stability on the OC, but you hadn't written what you're primary uses were, so I guess with a 4350, gaming may nt be one of them, making the 860 a fine choice.
