So what i didnt next was take another 2gb pair and put them with my current 2gb pair..they were different brands one being kingston and the other crucial ...but there timings and voltages were the same. my computer still did not want to load up.     ok so first of all both RAM kits are labeled as 2volts right on the sticks. but to make sure i got into my bios and i set the voltage to 2v and i made sure the timings were 4-4-4-12...well it still does not want to boot. and i tried the 4gb kit by itself and it didnt work

    i made that that both kits of RAM were the same kind ddr2 800 at ''4-4-4-12'' and however the voltages were different i dont if i have the ability to adjust that in the bios however

    i have a asus p5n32 sli se deluxe which supports 8Gb of RAM and im running 64 bit vista...i currently i have 2gbs of kingston hyperx ram installed in dual channel and they work fine.     through my college i can get a free copy of winodw 7 64 bit RTM...now rtm is release to manufacturer. if i install this version of 7 on my computer is it the full version or will i need to get another copy when 7 is released in october
