Hmm, that's odd. Did you purchase that power supply before 2008? OCZ reworked their design in late 2007 for their GameXStream and StealthXStream power supplies.
I might have gotten the last of the bad OCZ models. I purchased mine around 07, maybe early 08.

Sorry for the double post. Found a headset that will fix your chord problems. It is cheap for a 5.1 headset, great sound quality and bass, fits any head comfortably, and has a removable mic.

Why can't a manufacturer produce a headset with a replaceable cord?
Because they wan't a $3 piece to break so you have to go out and buy ANOTHER $70 headset. Like Sidicas said, if you got those handyman skills, they will save you a headache.
