Sorry I did not get a chance to reply sooner, work was extremely hectic today and I have had some other stuff that needed done before I could get online. I'm glad you were able to find what you needed.

What is the exact model enclosure you have?

Here is something to consider, production costs for the RAM. When DDR2 and DDR memory changed to DDR2 being more popular a few years ago, prices for DDR memory rose due to reduced availability of DDR memory s the fabs transitioned to producing DDR2 memory. During that transition, DDR2 was also more expensive as there was not as much ...

The only question I have is what PSU did you end up deciding on as not all PSUs are of good quality?

Thank you for the congrats, Kardon.

Thanks, I hit the million point mark about a week ago but I was not going to make a big deal about it. When I looked last night, Kardon was between 8000-9000 points from the 2 million point mark. I was going to check after work and see if he had made it yet. Thanks for posting the congratulations.
Congrats to Kardon!!!

One week is not that long when determining a build. I tend to plan my builds out so that I can get a good deal and good parts so my builds can take a while to plan. The only cautionary comments I have for the case and PSU is that if you decide to get a 5800 series GPU, make sure the GPU will fit in the case and also make sure you get a ...

While AMD is not the area that I know for mobos and processors, some quick research shows your mobo is an AM2 motherboard. That gives you the option of replacing the processor instead of replacing processor and mobo. I would go that route as it would potentially save you money that could be used for another part if needed. If you ...

From what I have been reading, the problem is two-fold. First, higher than expected demand and second, difficulty at the manufacturing facility where the chips are produced. The fab is having trouble with the yields of 40nm chips and adding the higher than expected demand to the second issue means that it is even harder than normal to ...

Nero 9 also has a free trial available if interested. I personally do not use Nero as their ver 8 was not registering correctly when trying two different retail copies.

Not sure if Dell and HP are still using proprietary parts as well such as the PSUs which had different pinouts in some of the earlier models. If so, replacing the PSU with a standard model PSU could cause problems as well. Having the model number like Tracer mentioned will help us to determine what your system ...

Nero 9 is out and it reports Windows 7 compatibility on their website: http://www.nero.com/enu/nero9-introduction.html

As long as you have checked to make sure everything will fit, you should be good to go then. Good luck on your build.

Kenotic,
You're welcome on the 900 info. I do have one question as well as a comment. The question is regarding the 922. Have you confirmed that there is enough room for 11'' long GPUs, especially if you plan to have 2 of them later? The comment is regarding the power draw for each GPU. The wattage recommended by ...
