SubaruWRX:I don't know if it's been said here but the PC version I don't understand what they mean by saying ''The game is not balanced for lean''
Being able to lean left or right allows players to peek around corners and shoot while presenting a smaller target to the enemy. This feature was a part of previous COD games. Due to the ...

Sidicas: Wasper:I don't know why they went backwards with player numbers...
You can't just keep adding better graphics and more special effects to a game and expect it to magically always be better than the one before on the same hardware.. Cuts and sacrifices need to be made to squeeze out that extra performance and the player ...

Kocrachon:
By your own logic, the boycotters are playing on pirated copies. Maybe they are boycotting.

Go to a wattage calculator and add up how much power you need for your CPU, memory, HDD, fans, lights, Optical drive , etc and make sure you have 160 watts left over for this card. The Allied brand is not one of the premium manufacturers, so you can expect ...

You have to open up the case and look on the side of the power unit. There should be a sticker with all the information. Most important is brand and total wattage.

Minimum required for the game is 256MB Nvidia GeForce 6600 GT or ATI Radeon X1600
A 9600 pro uses about 20 watts. Newer cards will use substantially more power and may need a free power connector. So your PSU will be an important piece of info.

Just did the BIOS upgrade to the latest version. No joy.
Turns out the EPU driver is just an energy saving app. I did not have it installed so it should not have been the cause of the problem. Maybe significant, nearly every video card except the one I have is supported by Asus SmartDoc including the 8800 GT and GTS and the 9800 GTX ...

''Indeed, yes, we found water. And we didn't find just a little bit, we found a
significant amount,'' said Anthony Colaprete, the mission's principal
investigator at NASA's Ames Research Center.
The lunar impact kicked up at least 25 gallons of water and that's only ...

Things usually evolve differently than we expect. Even ten years ago, I used a laptop at work with a docking station for using a regular KB/mouse. I could take the whole computer home or on a trip and still have my files, etc. The company could have provided a desktop but the laptop was more versatile.
There are properties of desktops ...

I don't think you will see those numbers if they are off a little for PC sales. They will talk only about console sales.
Of course, since the PC game costs 20% more than PC games usually cost, they can sell 20% less copies and still beat a dollar figure even if unit sales are down.

defiledfrog:I laughed the other day when I was reading a forum about how PC users have themselves to blame for MW2 nerfed because PC users do nothing but pirate games, Then I read this and I died laughing.

Thanks, I just updated to the latest EPU driver. That did not seem to fix the problem. I also fiddled with some of the power saver options again and will see if any of that helps.
A BIOS upgrade will have to wait but it does look like you may have found a possible answer.
