    Please help. Public list included.

Ok so my buddy helped me build a rig 15 months ago and he is overseas in forces and over the weekend some clown in span of 2 hours broke into my car and took my entire rig    Random crime as pc was hidden and they luck boxed from getting some change to a 3 k beast.   As my friend is out of town I'm asking for your help with making sure I'm not about to f**k this order up.  I'm leaving for 6 month trip to Mexico on July 15 th and only have 1 shot to order everything properly. There is no room for error as I will not be home to return parts that are not compatible.   Here is my list please feel free to replace anything or add anything I will need that I missed.   My pc will primarily be used for heavy database processing and minor gaming.  To give an example. My rig before was i7 w ssd drive and 8 gobs of ram that I would max out on processing memory most of the time. If you think u can help this guy and want to chat on Skype i hit me up. I will be running 2 30 inch dell monitors as well

6 mo. is an eternity in the PC world...prices drop and new and improved rolls out.  Not to mention the inability to return defective parts.  Why not put off assembling and ordering until you get back?  You will be living off of your laptop anyway for the next 6 mo. --- might as well make it 7.  Just my advice.

As for your list it looks fine except I don't particularly like Rosewill PSUs and you don't have a ODD if you wanted one or an OS.

    Freedom's the Answer.
    What's the Question?

My trip to Mexico requires the rig. I will be spending 10 to 15 hours a day 7 days a week on it.  I already have the os    Gonna add a cheap DVD burner now and change power supply.   Do I need like network cards ?

Do u think my motherboard is overkill and won't be utilized with rest of build?

Ugh.  $160, lousy 1 year warranty and it's not even modular.  Do yourself a favor, save $35 and get this instead.

Well, if you actually need all those bells and whistles, then the rig will make use of them.  If you're just after a good, high-end mobo without necessarily needing all the fancy extras, then even just the next few boards down the scale offer essentially the same thing for a solid $100 cheaper.

Either way should work fine, though IIRC the 2x8 setup might run a tiny bit faster.
