Bought it myself.. Love my Motorola Droid Razr.
Can't say that of the first Droid ... what a pain to have to slide for answer the phone call, that's make me switch back to iPhone. But this Razr look way better, I will check next time I go to Tellus
Yea, I got my Motorola Droid Razr unlocked.. International GSM phone / quadband.. works on AT&T 3G or T-Mobile here in the USA and can take a China Mobile SIM card and use 2G over in China.. It can run 3G on Japan's DoCoMo. A lot of heavy travelers love GSM phones because they can buy pre-paid SIM cards and just swap the SIMs out when you need it.. Then you never pay any ridiculous international roaming fees and you don't have to worry about contracts or subscribing / unsubscribing to service.
I think Verizon charges something like $3 a minute in addition to your monthly contract costs when using your phone in a different country, it's ridiculous.. You can get much cheaper service if you just buy a pre-paid SIM card for a cellular service in the country you're visiting... They're very easy to get. Love GSM phones.
Right now I'm using an AT&T GoPhone SIM card in my Motorola Droid Razr... $15 a month for 100MB of data and 10cents a minute calling ( no calling package).. 20 cents per text message (no text messaging package). Not bad for a no-contract pre-paid high end smart phone.
