    New Computer Building Forum!

    Hi All,

We've recently done a little reorganizing of our EggXpert forums, and now have a main Computer Building Forum for discussing System Builds. This current (old) System Builds forum will be disabled for new posts for the time being so we can shift over to using the new forum.

    Thanks everyone!

    - Paul

    Be excellent to each other.

    Re: New Computer Building Forum!

Perhaps the change will solve one problem I have noticed, There is the list of various componet items including "system builds", yet many people posted system build threads down lower ing the "Topics" area, It seemed rather inefficient to have system builds in two places, since it seemed to me that the posts down in "Topics" didn't seem to get as many responses and the ones in system builds.

    Re: New Computer Building Forum!

Yeah, that's people posting in the wrong place, lol.  I hope this reduces me having to manually move those misplaced threads into the System Builds subforum. Big Smile

\We also moved the Servers and HTPC from the In-Depth Tech Discussion and TV, Entertainment, respectively, to the main Computer Building forum.

    Re: New Computer Building Forum!

It's a good idea I think. We get more traffic to the system build sub section than to the parent section.

yes all of them are spinning. is unfortunately thats the only monitor i have other than this one and i dont know how to install oem os. or os period. this is my first time installing an os. can you think of any alternative way to do this? otherwise im kinda stuck with a fully assembled computer that i dont know if it works without an os. i work best when i have a guide instructing me how to do it step by step and i without a monitor to view your/neweggs instructions im kind of lost. the only alternative i can possibly come up with is unscrew my current monitor hook it up make sure computer boots....unhook it rescrew it to this tower report results, rinse and repeat for each step. thats going to take a long time. longer than usual since my tower sits in an enclosed space which is hard to access.
