    Remember when?

    Ok... I hope that this thread doesn't make anyone feel too old around here... *cough*

    but since this is the new year, and a lot has happened last year, and in history, this thread is about that... the good times, the bad times, the times that we all were not sure about...

    In this light, this thread will hopefully follow the following format:

     

    Response to the above remember when: (Could be an initial thought, what you were thinking during that time, what you were doing, or something/somehow that connects you to the event... if you have to, then plead the 5th.)

     

    Then the next remember when: (I.E.: Remember when Nixon was impeached?)

    So, there are no particular rules, except for to try to keep it within the past 200 years or so...

    This could be an interesting thread if it goes on...

    lets see how far it goes...

    Remember when most Anime WASN'T licensed in the U.S.?

    Onboard RAID vs. 3Ware RAID

    I never recommend people run RAID-5 with onboard chipsets.

    seems like its one of the few things I still remember...

    Sure, though if I remember right not all Hong Kong residents were exactly for that, I think many would have preferred a Taiwan type independence. (tries not to go into the Controversial Discussions forums realm)

    Yep, and I guess thats the year that started everything..

    It is kinda nice when Principals started pulling me out of class to fix their computers... then i dont have to do hardly any of the work in the class i was pulled out of...

    First OS I ever used was Windows 3.1, and all I knew how to do was get to Paint...  I was about 3.
