Top or bottom mount PSU

    Top or bottom mount PSU

    I have read the various threads concerning the pros & cons of top vs. bottom mounted power supplies. 

    However I am confused.  Most of the power supplies offered on the newegg site seem to have the fan mounted on the top of the PSU.  (e.g. Cooler Master Silent Pro 700.  Are such power supplies only suited for bottom mounting??

    no, in a top-PSU case, the PSU would go in with the fan facing downwards.  In the bottom mount cases, they go in with the fan facing upwards.  So, pick whichever type of case you prefer.
