need help choosing a CPU on a modest budget!!

i plan on getting this MOBO http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131404

but im having trouble looking for a CPU can you recommend one? please cross reference the MOBO specs to make sure the CPU

is compatible. Thanks

can you also recommend a STABLE Windows OS!

Make sure you set the voltage correct in your bios.Also don't hnow tour plans as far as overclocking. Get a good psu and aftermarket hsf.

intel core i7 860 or Intel core i5 750, it depends on what you use your rig. Personally I will go with core i5 750. Great bang for bucks.

Stable OS, yup, Windows 7 sells like hot cakes.

There are only 3 CPUs that will fit the 1156 build and with that budget you can only afford 2 of them plus you will need the DDR3 RAM for i5/i7 builds. Now here is a good combo deal that covers the 3 basic components you will need.
