Need help with mobo (drivers)

    Need help with mobo (drivers)

    I have a hp pavilion a807w with 2gb of ram and I just installed windows 7 ultimate and everything works normally except the mobo. The only problem is that I need the drivers for my ethernet controller as its listed inn the device manager. I have searched for the drivers butI dont know what to exactly search for. The mobo on the hp is a asus K8S-LA. I've found updates for the bios but none for win 7. Can anyone please suggest where to get the drivers or any updates. Any help is appreciatedHelp Me

    That's an old Socket 754 board? Wow, maybe askin a bit much, have tried either letting W7 and or WUP install what it thinks will work?

    Or running the

    sp26418.exe, file in compat mode?

    Yeah I know its old but it'll have to do for now until I build my first gaming rigWoohoo but I have to wait until february for that, so I just wanted to see how win 7 would run on my pc but didn't think about all the consequences of doing so. But thanks for the help but windows can't find any drivers or updates . So i'm going to try running the file in compat mode

    I had to install sis 900 drivers and its know working
