    Memory suggestings - PLEASE

After months of stashing money under the wife radar, I finally have enough for new/first build! Egyptian  Could anyone with same mobo and/or CPU specs give me some adviced about RAM based on what has worked well for you.  Based on Newegg reviews G Skill looks to be the choice.  I looked at OCZ's AMD RAM but I am not sure if the higher cost is due to product hype or true proformance.  I still need to purchase the mobo, cpu, and cooler but have decided on the ones I've listed in the specs.  The rest of the items are from current PC or are new just waiting to go.

I have used G.Skill in a number of builds and I would not hesitate to use them again.  The sticks I have used have overclocked well and I have never had an error from memtest.  Buy with confidence.

G.Skill makes very good RAM and I have used some in the past and it never has any problems. So it will be okay to get G.Skill RAM.

I'm running Mushkin at CAS7 on an Asus M4A785TD-V. Runs great, I normally buy G-Skill, but after rebates, this mushkin memory is cheaper than DDR2 and has faster timings than most other 1333 on the market..  The Mushkin memory runs a little hot at 1.8V (very high for DDR3), but it's 100% stable.

I never recommend people run RAID-5 with onboard chipsets.

    Thanks for all the input.  I decided to go with G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)

The price, timing, and voltage 1.5 were all perfect for me.
