    wondering if this is a good deal at that price or if black friday would be better

    yup i agree.. wait til black friday.. if it was some where around 450-475 dollars then maybe..

     

    the primary reason for the high price is the DDR3 ram.. even though its not really needed for that system..

    wow I thought it was a great deal 550 and ddr3 whats wrong with it at that price any ideas

    What's wrong with it?

    • No real graphics chip (Intel graphics chips don't count, as they're just a pile of poo)
    • No gigabit ethernet
    • No Wireless-N
    • No Blu-Ray Reader
    • Only has a 1 year warranty
    • No Bluetooth


    A real sorry excuse for a laptop.. I've seen netbooks with more features.. In fact, a lot of netbooks out there that are nvidia Ion based can easily kick that laptop to the curb when it comes to HD playback, which is pretty pathetic.. I mean, the whole point of getting a laptop is that it's supposed to be a step up from a netbook, but clearly that is not the case here!

    Onboard RAID vs. 3Ware RAID

    I never recommend people run RAID-5 with onboard chipsets.

    wow ok thanx never thought about that stuff I will wait then see I have a netbook now but I need something alot faster its to slow and I can't multitask so I need something that will help me there
