Recommended Memory?

I'm looking to upgrade my computer's current memory. Mine currently is running on 256 MB of RAM which, from the little knowledge I possess, I'm assuming is terrible. I was wondering what would be the best memory for under $100? And also, are there compatibility issues with putting new memory in a computer?

You need to grab CPU-Z and provide the make/model # of your motherboard. Then you can look up what memory it supports.

Onboard RAID vs. 3Ware RAID

I never recommend people run RAID-5 with onboard chipsets.

Alright. I ran the program and now theres a bunch of information. Under motherboard: Dell Computer Corp. / Model: 0R8060

Is there anything else you need to know?

Sounds like a Dimension 3000 series.. In that case, any of these should work:

Model: D845GVSR

What would be compatible with that?
