The past couple weeks I've been having some serious issues waking up for my morning classes. An alarm clock and a cellphone alarm just don't seem to do enough. I even tried placing my cellphone on top of a high shelf away from my bed so I'd have to walk across the room to turn it off. It's pretty easy to do that and fall right back into bed.
I leave my computer on nearly all the time, so I was thinking I might be able to find a program that might work as a better alarm clock. I'm sure somebody's thought up something clever that takes a bit more effort to shut off than hitting a button. Maybe something where I have to type a few short sentences or something to shut off the alarm clock? Anything that gets me up and onto the computer will probably drive me to check my e-mail and the other usual sites long enough to wake me up for the day.
Anyone know of a program like this? I'm sure I'm not the only person in the world that can't get up in the morning but has an always on PC near his bed that might do the trick.
