Windows 7 availability

Is there any chance that .ca will see the same pre-order offer that .com has right now, with $10 off and free shipping on the Windows 7 OEM versions?

Or at least... Will we be able to order Windows 7 at all?

Rigth now I'm tempted to purchase from .com and have it shipped to someone I know in the US, and just have them mail it to me.

Your best bet is to have your friend order it in the states and have him/her send it to you. Canada should have the preorders per Microsoft same time as the US. http://www.microsoft.com/canada/windows/buy/offers/pre-order.aspx

Hi faa,

I checked on Windows 7 availability for you -- unfortunately right now I'm told that it won't be available for pre-sale on Newegg.ca.

You'll be able to order Windows 7 on Newegg.ca starting at 5:00PM on 10/20/2009 (Pacific Time, I believe).

Windows 7 orders will start shipping out on 10/21/2009, and will be delivered on 10/22/2009 at the earliest (depending on your location and selected shipping method).

I'm also told that we'll be offering specials on Windows 7 closer to the launch date, so check your Newegg.ca email blast to see if there are any discounts available.
