zenith tv

    Hi everyone,I'm new to the forum.

    I got my hdtv yesterday and hooked it up to DirecTv, and it fried the box. It immediately tripped the breaker, so I tried just the tv on a different cicuit;I got snow & autotune.When I added another box and hooked up the yellow, white, & red it fried the box & tripped the breaker, but the tv stayed on. I think it's a short in the tv, so Newegg is sending another. What do you guys think?

    Oh, yes! I've already shipped it back to Egg, they're great about it; I just wondered if anything like this happened before.

    Never heard about it before. See if the new TV fixes the issue and let us know.

    I got the new tv from egg, and in about 3 minutes had a perfect DirecTv picture.

     THANKS NEWEGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
