    Deactivated Items

I've noticed that when I search for certain products on the Newegg.ca site they're listed as deactivated but the Newegg.com site lists them as available.

Is there a reason behind this?  I hope that Newegg isn't limiting Canadians to items that aren't that popular. An example is the DWA-140 USB Network Adapter that's limited to the U.S. site. Any feedback appreciated.

    Re: Deactivated Items

It's not like newegg deliberately limit certain products on the newegg.ca site, maybe the contract with manufacturers has ended or something, or maybe those manufacturers requested newegg not to sell certain product on newegg.ca site...just marketing strategies...and for now newegg still don't have any warehouse in Canada yet. but its getting bigger and better after allStick out tongue

    Re: Deactivated Items

Thanks for the replies. I just find it weird that yesterday I was ready to order item F3-10666CL8D-4GBHK for a Gigabyte Mobo and today it's deactivated on Newegg.ca. I must admit that I can't find any Canadian resellers so maybe G.Skill does have limitations on this particular product. The D-link USB Network Adapter that I mentioned earlier is available at many online locations in Canada so that one still has me puzzled.

    Thanks Again for the feedback.

    Future of newegg.ca

Yes, it is amazes me how much product is available on .com site compared to the .ca site.

In some catagories it is almost 10 to 1. and is getting much worse lately. I wonder is newegg if slowly shutting the canadian site down. It would be a shame. best thing that has hapened up here.
