I have narrowed down the large TVs to a few that seem to be of relatively good quality and price (mostly from newegg, but any other trustworthy company is fine, too).

The main one that my grandmother is interested in is the LG 47LH30 as it is the one I most highly recommended. Now that you have an idea of how large of a TV we are looking for, have you got any other ideas for good quality/price TVs in the 40-49" range?

The Samsung's are nice, but they are a touch pricey in my opinion. But any options are open for fairly priced choices.
