cat5 and cat6

i was wondering if there was any kind of patch panel that work both with cat5 and cat6 network cable?

You could either use this:

If you go the second route, there are wall plates with less or more keystone holes, and there are different colour keystones available too... lots of options. You'll also need a punch-down tool to insert the wires. Also, anything Cat6 rated will also work backwards with Cat5e equipment, but not the other way around.
