    Re: Hauppauge HD-PVR

It is $45 less then I paid for it last June direct from Hauppauge.

I will add it records very well from the following:  cable box, Xbox360, PS3, HD-dvd player, Blu-ray player, video camcorder.  The only thing I am not exactly sure how to record from is a pc though that one doesn't matter so much.  The biggest pain is switching the cable around from device to device.  I am thinking of getting a component switch, though I already have way too many cables behind my entertainment setup.

Thanks! You are always helpful! xoxo  Yeah you explained it to me many times.  Since my cable company began to broadcast some of the premium channels in HD, I am finally getting this. :D  The thing is NewEgg raised the price by 15 dollars and put back the shipping charge. I found it for 30 dollars less elsewhere today so I just odered though I would totally have got this from NewEgg if the difference had been like 10 dollars.

I can't wait to use this!!  Hm.. yeah, the cable is also gonna be a problem...  I am actuallly using it to video capture from my cable hard drive DVR, so, it's only gonna be when I want to store permanently though... Lemme know if you got a switch how it's working out. :D
