Cooler Master Cosmos: New vs Refurbished

    Hi

Im going to jump on my new build soon and i want to get the cooler master cosmos 1000.

newegg has it for 169 +tax shipped.

but..... cooler master store has a refurbished one for 109+18+tax shipped.

Has anyone bought a refurbished case from the cooler master store before?  Do you think around 50 bucks in savings is worth getting a refurb case?

    thanks

For refurbished item, Newegg does not guaranty accessory, and usually case got damaged or scratched before. So if you got enough budget and for yoru convenience, I recommend you to purchase for a new one.

I  will buy a brand new case for 50 bucks more but that is just me and maybe even though I  pay extra $50 for a brand new case it still comes DOA. Sometimes it is like buying lottery, Good luck.

Yup, all refurbished parts comes as is and without any kind of warranty. They may have some scratches and minor defectcs, which could be really annoying if you are not able to fix them. Moreover, it's always difficult to tell exactly what is wrong because it's different for each case...So I strongly suggest you get a new one from Newegg. Their customer service is very good. The RMA is fast and effective. Basically, you will have nothing to worry about...Only IMHOStick out tongue
