    Re: 071709 72-Hour Sale! $19.99 Video Card...

I am very interested in the Asus VH242H 23.6 inch monitor but I do have a question. Unfortunately the deal ends on sunday and I can't call either newegg or Asus until monday and that is why I am here. The product listing following this message says nothing about a manufacturers warranty. The information provided on the Asus site however mentions a 3 year warranty at the bottom of their own page about this product. Buy.com mentions this warranty also. The best "deal" would be from Newegg, provided it comes with the Asus 3 year warranty. Is this the case? Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

(asus product information, warranty mentioned at very bottom): http://usa.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=10&l2=151&l3=850&l4=0&model=2701&modelmenu=1

(buy.com product listing, warranty mentioned right above the "tech specs"): http://www.buy.com/prod/asus-vh242h-24-23-6-viewable-widescreen-lcd-monitor-20000-1-5ms-1920-x/q/loc/101/210447662.html

    Hi Castiel,

I'm so sorry I didn't see this post until today! To answer your question, since it's a new item, I don't see any reason why the manufacturer warranty wouldn't still apply to it (if a 3-year warranty is the standard thing that comes with this monitor). The best way is to call Asus's customer service and ask them. But I'm pretty sure the warranty applies.

The e-Blast promo has ended but the price is still $189.99 after MIR... a $20 difference, but the shipping will still be free and pretty darn fast. :)

Thanks for subscribing to the e-Blast!
